My 6920G currently has a T9300 which is 2.5ghz on the 800MT/s FSB

Is the best CPU I can fit the T9500?

By my understanding, everything quicker than the T9500 has the 1066MT/s FSB and won't work? Is this correct?

Would you consider the performance increase from T9300 to T9500 worth the money and hassle?

Should I just shut-up and be happy with the T9300? lol

    what chipset do you have?

Also if you want, I can help you try to overclock the FSB.
The T9300 and T9500 are basically the same chip. They probably will overclock to the same max frequency.
If you need the speed then overclocking the FSB should get you to almost 4ghz.

I'm basing that number off of this:

Personally I wouldn't do it. You're better off getting a SSD from a performance perspective.

    Yeah T9500 should work...

In theory some of the Xtreme CPUs, like X9000, should work too but as far as I know no one on this forum ever tried it so we don't know for sure if it will work..

But I'm with Zaz here, unless you're using some very CPU intensive software a CPU upgrade on this level is not worth it you're better off getting a SSD instead

You can't overclock any CPU in the 6920G AFAIK. Agreed w/ the rest that the T9500 isn't worth the cost.
