Well I'm confused about my laptop so can you help me out?

    Spec
    TF-20(s1g1) CPU
    M780G Mobo chipset

I have stock 780g chipset which can support s1g2 but stock cpu came with s1g1 cpu.
Does that mean I can only use s1g1 cpu? Or can I buy something like RM-70 (s1g2) cpu and put it in my laptop?

My son has a 5517 which came with the tf-20 and we put a tl-58 in it and it works fine. Dual 1.9GHz was a noticeable step up from the single 1.6 tf-20. The only way to know is to try out a s1g2 chip in it. But it's quite possible that even if the chipset supports it, it might not be wired up for s1g2.
