Hi guys, I'm having a problem where occasionally when I restart my laptop, my Laptop hangs at the Acer Splash Screen, so I read a few threads and discovered that I need to update my BIOS dealy so I went on ACer's drivers and updates website but it didnt have numbered version like V1.5 or v1.6 etc, instead it had numbers like 3422 so was worried if I downloade the wrong update I'd mess up my laptop, so can anyone help me find the right one?? :D

    Hi,

the highest number is usually the latest version. But at first you should try to find out your current Bios version.

Apart from that, this issue could also be unrelated to the Bios. Perhaps a driver that is not working properly or even a hardware problem (check RAM and the HDD, also check the Event Log).

Okay. Acer seems to omit the part before the decimal point. As far as I can see, latest Bios seems to be Version 3303 (which then should be reported as v0.3303).
