    Hello everyone
to cut the long story short, I deleted every single partition in my Acer 1810TZ including backup partition.

I was wondering if I could use my friends Acer 1810TZ Olympic edition recovery DVDs as recovery method and give a life to my netbook rather than paying ridiculous amount of money to Acer for spare back up disk.

Is there any risk regard to his key become like blacklisted.... if I use his backup disk?

    Thank you

should be okay i believe as long as they are both the same win7 edition, but older acer recovery discs wont re-create a recovery partition for you; it only installs the OS partition on your hard drive's first partition
