Hi, this is my first post although I have been reading a bunch of the forum material for the past month as I tried to decide which laptop to buy. Anyway, I ended up purchasing the V7-582PG. I received it yesterday and am happy with everything except the touchpad. The only touchpad I've really used (I always use a mouse on my work machine) in the past has been on my wife's Macbook pro and it has always been very nice. The touchpad on this machine however is not as responsive. I can learn to live with it I think but I have one issue that is driving me insane and I don't know how to fix it and am hoping that somebody can help me.

When I use two fingers to scroll in on websites in Chrome the touchpad highlights everything as it scrolls. I know that there is a separate scroll area on the side of the touchpad but using two fingers feels more natural for me. Is there any setting that I can turn off/on that will stop the highlighting.

Btw...I feel like an idiot asking the question and am embarrassed that I haven't figured it out myself yet. Thanks for anybody that can help.

I think Acer recently released some new touchpad drivers? See if your touchpad needs an update. Might help you with your problem
