When playing Star Wars Battlefront on my Aspire 2000, there are sections of the screen that isn't correct (rectangle showing water when I'm on land). I wanted to know if anyone is using updated ATI drivers or modified drivers and if they have any problems. I am a little hesitant loading new display drivers and wanted to know what other Aspire 2000 owners are using. Thanks for your help.

It sounds like a driver problem to me. The older drivers don't support the features/calls the game is trying to make and therefore you get a blank rectangle. Why don't you want to upgrade the drivers? If you're running the original drivers that came with the unit, they're WAY out-dated. Goto the Acer site and get the new drivers, get the Omega Drivers if you want, or goto www.DriverHeaven.net and download the ATI Mobility Modder and install the drivers directly from the ATI website.
