    Hello

I have bought the Acer 5920 last week, but im already tired of VISTA imcompabilities and lag and freezing (even got Blu screen of death  )

I have an origian copy of XP.

I was wondering wheter its possible to install XP on the acer 5920 without deleting the VISTA partition (just the hidden partition) in case i want to install it in the future...

    thanks a lot! ;)

BTW, do you think im doing the right thing? deleting VISTA and installing XP?

You can partition you hard drive and install XP on the new partition, while keeping the Vista one intact.

That way you can select which OS you want to boot onto. Also, no matter what you do with your hard drive, you can always restore the computer back to its original state using the backup DVDs that you should have made when you got your computer. Heck you can even get a completely new hard drive and you can still install the factory OS.

And there is no right or wrong way about this, it's what you feel is better.
