After reading pretty much every page on the forum to do with the Acer timeline it seems that with windows 7 you get less battery life. I really wanted to install my windows 7 x64 RTM but the reason i got the timeline was mainly for the battery life.

Some of the posts were a bit dated, but is it possible to get the 8hr + battery life with windows 7 final release (out on torrents) and the Acer software? (that i assume comes with the laptop, haven't got mine yet should arrive this week).

    Thanks
