    I have Acer Aspire 5920 - notebook - I need to activate a wireless connection but the problem is - Device manager shows - network controller under Other devices - not configured properly ?Specifications :- Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 - 1.66 Ghz,
    2 GB DDR2, bluetooth 2.0 , 802.11 a/b/g WLAN ,
    Windows Xp SP2- Home edition installed.
    I was told to install drivers for WLAN from CD or website but which one of these--- drivers
    Intel 3945abg 0r Intel 4965abgn ( both in CD ) or WLAN Broadcom wireless lan driver ( from Website )and also CD - says after installig drivers , install
    SW2\wireless\intel3945\iprodifx.exe ---- application ?
    how could I find out which co's network controller is installed in the notebook ?

    In device manager, mine shows as an Intel Wireless 3945ABG. HTH
