    WOW Aspire 1800 series what a beast!

    I was browsing acers support section looking at notebook manuals, when I came across the 1800 series. It boasts a p4 up to 3.6ghz and intel 915 chipset supporting pciexpress. But the kicker is a mobile Radeon X600 64/128 mb graphics[8D]. Also a 17 inch 1440x900 display supporting dual view. Looks like their giving the XPS a run for their money. I would rather acer go with amd 64 cpu or a dothan, the battery lifes gotta be terrible.

    it's a beast in size too, this thing weighs 16 pounds or so, more than some bowling balls. The power adapter is as big as a brick, you could call it a beast, yes!
