    I'd keep an eye out for refurbs showing up at MicroCenter or Frys. There's none on ebay, except for puny 5470 machines.

    If you would consider a 4820TG, Amazon had a batch on there the other day with the I5-480M/HD 6550 GPU. $799 new.

    wish i would have seen this add about 6 days ago, could have helped you out.

    saw a place that had both 3820TG 5650, and 4820TG 6550 for sale, he said that they had many to move.

    Can you tell me what wi/fi driver you have please!!! I can't get mine to work and also have the i5 480m and 6650 so figure wifi will be the same too.

    That has nothing to do with Wi-Fi. Acer uses different cards in the same model of the same laptop. There's an app on Acer support site that recognizes your hardware- Wi-Fi card included. ( link)

    TX it still was a pain to install, had to manually point it to the correct .inf file and only then did it work as other wise it remained unrecognized.
