This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Waking Acer 8920G with Wireless Keyboard

    Hi Guys,

    I have an Acer Aspire 8920G laptop which im currently using as a media centre, as a result I have a logitech DiNovo Mini keyboard connected to the laptop via the provided bluetooth dongle.

    However when I put the laptop to sleep I cannot wake it using the the Logitech Keyboard... I thought it may be a BIOS setting but couldnt find anything, nor can I find anything in Windows.

    I also have a HP work laptop and I AM able to wake that from sleep using the same device...

    Any ideas?

    PS Im running windows 7.
