I have an Acer Ferrari 4500 WLMI Laptop, and Im wondering what the specs of the RAM stick I would need to upgrade my current 524x2.

I bought the machine used, and did not come with a manual, and I cant seem to find out which RAM stick I need (pin set, etc.).

Any help would be great.. thanks

PS. Is it easy to change out the sticks?

Thanks guys... I did some searching online and found this data for the Acer Ferrari 4000 series:

    2 slots:
Each memory slot can hold DDR PC3200,DDR PC2700 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.*

Now.. I dont know alot about specific compatabilities for these items.. but I know they can sometimes be very precise.. my question is this.. will this item listed below work with the paramaters listed above?

Kingston's ValueRAM memory. Easy to Install and 100% compatible, Kingston's 667MHz DDR2 SODIMMS are your best buy for speed, quality and performance. This 1GB, 200 pin, gold-plated DIMM is ideal for your PC5300, DDR2-based Notebook Computer and is backed by a lifetime warranty

I know it says PC5300, and that is not one of the options listed on the acer site, but does that spec matter?

    Thanks
