    Hello,

I bought an Acer aspire 5738DZG laptop a couple of months ago. I have recently noticed some problems with the webcam. When the default settings are on (webcam refresh rate set up to 60hz and no backlight compensation), there are like darker "waves" flickering on the brighter background.

But, when the refresh rate is set up to 50hz and the backlight compensation is on, there are no problems at all.

What could possibly be causing this? Im almost sure that this didn't occur before. The refresh rate of my computer is set up to 60hz.
