What's good people?
My girlfriend recently bought an Acer 5720, one of the newer Gemstone models, now it works and all (Vista really is load of crap), however on the keyboard, her 'O' (the one next to 'P' doesn't work. It takes a great deal of force to make it register and it's bugging us both as this laptop should be 'new' therefore have no problems.
So just wondering any suggestions? I'm considering openning it up and checking the keyboard cabling, what do you guys think?

I'm sure I read this on Neowin this morning lol.
Sounds like a keyboard problem. Also, just because a laptop is new does not necessarily mean it has no problems. It could easily be a faulty machine off the production line.
You may also want to check for any BIOS updates that may resolve this issue. -
Yeah I posted this on NeoWin and OcUK too
.

Is it possible that a piece of dirt got under the o-key?
-
Dunno how I'd check for that

I have an air-spray which is meant for cleaning out computer parts. You would be amazed of the amount of dust en dirt that gets under your keys after a while.

I'll check in town for some, any ideas on shops?

I checked out the exact name for you (I knew air-spray wasn't the right word for it
