Hello guys, maybe you can help me. My aspire 5630 is giving me trouble, the lappy sometimes displays some colors wrong and with shadows, I can’t really describe this well so I attached a few photos. If I do a screen capture it appears normal and everything is good on an external monitor. This doesn’t happen all the time. I’ve sent it to support from acer twice as it is still under warranty but it never got fixed. By the way it’s not a driver issue as it also happens in the BIOS.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
Thanks in advance for the help. And sorry for my English, it clearly isn’t my native language.

I had a somewhat similar problem. Mine was on a 5672 and the "distortion" would appear randomly. Displayed perfectly on an external monitor.

Sent it to Acer Canada (under warranty) and they "re-seated the LCD connector". That seems to have fixed it.

Can I do that without voiding my warranty, and if I can, does anyone know how?
I should probably just send it back to acer but their service is really slow here and I need the laptop for university.
