I was considering buying one of the blue 13.3 Acer TimelineX models with the dedicated Nvidia Graphics card but have noticed that they are no longer listed on Acers website, They are also very hard to find online except for a few used or refurbished models here and there. These are fairly new laptops so I'm worried that they were pulled for a reason, does anyone know what's going on?

It looks like the 3830tg is no longer for sale in the us. The 4830tg is however. Maybe acer doesn't want the 3830tg to compete with the s5 ultrabook. its an odd marketing decision. Maybe the 14" body leaves more room to dissapate heat.

Hmm yeah that's exactaly what I'm worried about...Possible heat issues with the 13.3 inch model....But I'd Love to get the smaller one if there are no issues. Does anyone here have a 3830tg and if so have you had any issues?

Lots of users and lots of issues.
No point buying 3830TG- it is defective by design.
