You've already made a thread abut this. the driver isn't the issue.

If you've set your router up to wpa-psk you may need to configure the advanced settings within xp's connection ultility to connect to wpa-psk.

I tested this last night on an xp virtual machine and with my router, the only way i would get xp saying it was wep, was if it was a wep setup on my router. When i setup wpa-psk, xp would detect the wpa settings. (if i am wrong about this someone correct me).

It may be worth you posting this in the networks section. Or seeing if a mod can move it.

Have you been into xp to changed the advanced settings for your network.

    Open Neywork Connections

Right click Wireless network connection, the click properties

Then click the middle tab wireless networks

Then click on your network it automatically connects to and click properties

You should be able to fiddle with the settings here. Whether this helps you or not i don't know, If not I would strongly advise you post in the networks section of the forum, or get this thread or the other one moved.

Basically you need to replicate the wpa-psk settings you have in your router here.
