If you got a blu-ray player, the latest one from nvidia. Else I don't know: I have a blu-ray

There are three Acer official releases that carry WHQL certification in order to keep Blu-ray playback: 174.51 and 175.61 on the Acer FTP, and 176.37 on LV2Go.
I'm on 175.61, and I've yet to have a problem with it. -
I have no blueray in my laptop so what driver would work?
-
Ok can some one please give me a link to the drivers that would work with my laptop. I tried gong to acer's website and clicked on the acer aspire 6920G driver link but the link does not work.

go to laptopvideo2go.com... i'm on 176.37 because i have bluray.. but since you dont have bluray you can use any driver from there.. look around in the forums 177.92 seems to be pretty popular.. you'll need to use a modded inf though.. all info on this can be found on the site

Why do you think that the GPU driver is related to the BD drive?
-
You need signed drivers for bluray movies to play and using a modded inf messes with the certificate. so you need to use drivers that both support your card and are whql

spot on camote....

acer support was no help at all. Where can I get my stock drivers if the newer drivers dont work? I cant get to acer drivers on there website cuase the page is broken.

this is the link i suspect you need
this link is to ALL THE DRIVERS FOR YOUR MODEL -
175.61 may be his stock, but then again 174.51 might be.
And plus, this will teach you to burn the drivers & utilities disk using eRecovery before you go dicking around with your system. -
I use 177.92. You get PhysX support....
But game performance seems a bit iffy - specifically GRID and Mass Effect.

The instructions are fool proof. -
Look at my post here, might work.
