    Hi!

Some days ago i got a acer travelmate from a friend.
It was had some difficulties running 100%, but i got it fixed.

I want to paint it all white later, because its colours has began to fall off.

    - What is the best CPU i could put into it. Is there possible to put into a coreduo cpu? it is 915GM/GMS chipset on mine

    - is there room to put into one more hdd, so i could use two?

    - Is there a easy way to put some blue 2mm leds under the keyboard, so i could light it up from beneath?

Just give me more examples what cool and fun i can do with it without destroying it.

Here is the hw on the acer:

    Intel M 1,6ghz (2mb cache)
    512mb ddr2 533mhz
    60GB 4200rpm hdd
Intregated GFX, dont ask what its named (intel or something)

    1) No, you cannot put in a C2D or CD proc inside
    2) No, you can't have two hard drives! You can swap the current one out, though.
    3) Probably not an easy method, but with a bit of modding ingenuity, you could.

Looking at your specs, you could upgrade your RAM. If you are interesting in modding, I would post the LED question in the Cosmetic area of NBR.
