I am led to believe that it comes with a Seagate, which would be a very good thing. Can anyone confirm this?

Mine came with a Seagate. But I read that other peoples came with other HD's. Maybe depends on location. I'm in North America.

Yup, that has to be the most silent and coolest running HD I ever owned.
