You have the same laptop as me! :D

    Maybe something like this:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Akasa-AK-NB...3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1268413261&sr=8-3

but to be honest, sometimes I question the use of cooler fans - if I raise the back end of the laptop by sitting it on top of a book it's cooler than when I use a cooler fan -.-'''

Also... personally I found little difference with heat output with/without a cooler fan - and I've slightly overclocked the GPU! Without a fan, my temps for CPU1 and CPU2 are 52C and 56C respectively. GPU is 53C. This is under a "slight" load (MS Word, Google Chrome, some pdfs, and iTunes all open). These temps don't really change when I use a cooler fan - the (overclocked) GPU jumps to ~60C if I'm gaming...but I have a feeling I'll need to get my GPU checked if you're getting 75C with a stock GPU!

    Anyway best of luck!

Use the Zalman NC2000. It costs $60 but it takes down temps by 10C depending on the ambient temps.

    My system currently runs at

    Idle:
    CPU - 42C w/ undervolt
    GPU -48C w/ undervolt

    Load:
    CPU: 60C w/ undervolt
    GPU: 81C w/ undervolt.

My values might look similar to yours on load but keep in mind that I upgraded to a T9900 and a 4670M, both of which run hotter than the stock components.

I also replaced the paste on the CPU and GPU with IC Diamond which helps significantly if the fan is running. The heat conduction with IC Diamond is ridiculous compared to AS5. It idled at 50C when fans were running with AS5 but now it idles at it's current temps.

    My ambient temps is 70C.

    Thanks for helping.

By the way those cpu & gpu reading are under stress test reading, normally i get same as yours reading, for cpu i do orthos stress test & for gpu i do furmark as per suggestion.

For cpu undervolting really worth's, right i am trying to lower down more gpu temp and decent overclock, also checking out right gpu drivers, current drivers are 195.61 from nvida site.

you can suggest me right driver as well.

    thanks..

Edit : is there any GPU undervolting guide out there?

Well I don't have the same drivers, let alone same chipset as yours since its an ATI card. I've found that drivers don't really matter when it comes to temps, or at least in my experience. GPU undervolting requires vBIOS editing. triturbo's been helping me with mine. I think you need Nhibitor to edit nvidia vBIOS.

Well, GPU undervolting seem to be complicated, i read some where undervolting gpu give just -5 temp something, i think cooler might be sufficient for my needs if required.

    Cya around.
