    I specifically wanted to know if the operating system came on CD with the Acer TM 4502LMi?

    There are different personalities inside me...Can you hear their voices? I can.

    Win XP home edition comes preloaded with it. and you are givin recovery cd not the orginal win xp home edtion

    Thanks. So you're saying that with the recovery cd, if I was to reformat my harddrive and wipe off Windows from it I'd be able to install Window back on from the recovery cd?

    I don't know if all acer recovery cds are the same but mine work ok. You just boot up from the recovery cd it formats your c: partition no mater the size and them installs XP on it as if it wase fresh out o the factory line.
