I have had my Acer Aspire 3003 LCi since 2005. It was a fine laptop, until about Dec. 2008 -- then things went bad, and quickly. Between the battery power being horrible, overheating, and a random system crash, it has been a pain trying to fix up.

For the last two years I have just had my Acer Aspire sitting in a closet just collecting dust. However, I am getting ready for a large move, so I was going through all my stuff -- and today I stumbled upon my Aspire.

So, I have no clue exactly what went wrong with it, but it morealess needs a complete reboot & switched back to Win XP (I made an "upgrade" to Vista... bad move).

Is there any realistic buyers out there for my old Acer Aspire? I'm just not sure what others have done with their old Acer's, and would be awesome to hear from those with close Aspire Models.

Any suggestions as to what to do with my Aspire would be awesome.

Realistically, you're better off donating that to someone who will spend time to find out what's wrong with it. It's not practical anymore to sell that since laptops right now are very very cheap. You will spend as much money tryin to repair that as buying a new one. Cheers.
