I want to upgrade my intern memory, but can't find the DETAILS (manual, site Acer or WWW) which type of memory, except for the things i know that it must be SODIMM DDR PC2700 ...

I know there's also something more that's important, like how many
pins (184? 200?) and the thing behind the DDR333 ... the cl 2.5 stuff. Who can help me by finding these details and can tell me more about changing this memory; i mean the so called "standard memory".

I have already checked the back of my laptop, and there is just one memorykit that you can change very easily by yourself ... but i want to know where the other part (memory) is hidden and how to change that stuff?

At this moment i have 512 intern memory, but i like to have 1 Gb or better ... 2 Gb (but then i need also to change the "standard memory" if i can trace that!).

At last, where can i find good deals with memory stuff SODIMM???

    Greetings from the Netherlands,

    Huub

Kingston list these sticks for the 3000.

    M3264C250-256MB Module
    M6464C250-512MB Module
    M12864C250-1GB Module

"standard memory" just means the ram that came with the laptop. No settings need to be changed when removing it and adding new ram.

Here is the .pdf manual for the 3000: https://www.synapsenow.com/synapse/data/7117/documents/f3000ug.pdf

Replacing the ram under the keyboard: http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/forms/portal.cfm?recordid=431&formid=3390&website=AcerPanAm.com&originwebsite=AcerPanAm.com&central=1&words=all&keywords=&pupv=pu

Thanks a lot for your good help! Can you or someone else tell me if i want to use different memory how many "pins" the memory must be?

I doubt, it must me 184 or 200 pins and i think it is the last one, but also that is so hard to discover!

I want to use memory from Aenon, here is the URL http://www.aeneon.com/en/products/DDR_so_dimm_512.html

    Again greetings from the Netherlands!
