So...I had a lot of problems with my laptop and finally,by pressing "ALT" "F10"(during the time the Acer logo was on the screen) I did get access to eRecovery and manage to get everything back as when new. That was 2 days ago. This morning, the wireless Internet wasn't working so had to do to the whole process again.A few hours later,I got that message from Acer to burn an eRecovery backup disk like it was to save me from hell. So,I went throught the process to discover that...all it does,it provide you with the same files that are on the 4 disks they provide you with the laptop. So good for those who lost them but anyway..I did try to use them to solve my problems and they were totally useless(seems there no Windows XP system in there at all).
So,I decide to play safe and to use Acronis True Image to save my hidden partition somewhere and then save it to a DVD so I could use this if I ever get problem again and that for whatever reason,I can't get access to it by using eRecovery.Once burned,I did pop the DVD in,while in I was set for the laptop to boot from the CD/DVD but nothing did happen.I just went through to Windows booting up and that was it.
If your hard drive ever crash(I guess you loose access to that hidden partition)then how do you manage to get Windows back on it without a provided installation CD ?Thanks.

Just found out that if you go to "eRecovery" by pressing "ALT" "F10" late(after the Acer logo is gone or that Windows is up)or by clicking the eRecovery icon on the desktop then, there's an option to run a back-up disc. That's something I couldn't do the other day because they were refusing me access to that eRecovery telling me I didn't have administrator privilege...even though I was logged as administrator.I haven't try the eRecovery run a back-up disc option yet.
