Asus is already ready with updates to its UL30 lineup. I can't wait to see the UL20 and 1810 with the Core i7-640UM. I have already saved up $200 on Amazon, and am planning to give my 3810 to my parents.

You didn't click the link in my post (the word Asus is it). It takes you to the thread where the new Asus UL30 refresh is mentioned. Also the Core i5/i7 ULV's with an 18W TDP arw actually more efficient than a C2D SU7300+Intel GMA 4500 graphics (together they have a 24W TDP I think, compared to 8W for the i7 processor and 10W for the graphics). Also, why would Asus refresh the UL's with a more power hungry processor? So eventually the ULV 18W Core i7's will be in a refresh of Acer's Timeline's, I just wish it would show up now.
