    Where can I find an Acer A5672 cooling unit

    and by that I mean a replacement for the CPU fan/cooling system inside the laptop, NOT an external cooler. My fan's been rubbing against the zinc cooling pipes and making quite a bit of noise. Only a matter of time before it dies, and obviously it is also not rotating quite nearly as fast as it should so I've been getting some overheating problems.
    So is there a place on the web where I can order spare A5672 parts?

    i say shave off some plastic on the fan blades so it doesnt hit the heat sink anymore.

    but for sure, if u think its spinning slower then that is trouble.

    thanks guys, i found a canadian website (seeing how i live in canada now) with the whole thermal module for about 65 CAD. acer wanted to charge about 40 bucks more.

    as for "shaving" the fan, that was the first thing i did after i posted this thread, but then realized that it's the ball bearing that was making the noise. some lubricant brought the RPM back up to a decent number and the noise is gone, but this is all temporary fixes, so i ordered the heat sink anyway.
