    Does anyone know of any cheap places to get a screen from. Had a bit of an acident with mine, massive crack in it.

    Search for Notebook Solutions, AcerParts....You'll find some stuff there. But expensive, and they ship to the UK.

    Best checkout Ebay....

    Check actual LCD panel label, on back of LCD display after dismantling it.

    If it says Samsung LTN141W1-L01, search for this panel rather than looking for an Acer 3050 part. This LCD panel is widely used by many badged laptops, eg it's also fitted in many Dell laptops.

    You should find it available in glossy and matt, from various UK suppliers.

    Best price two weeks ago was £110 delivered (worst over £190) but nobody had much stock.
