    Where is my Acer being shipped from??????

    I ordered an Acer Laptop off HSN , they said it's not coming from there Warehouse it's coming directly from Acer, so where would that be?? I know there Headquarters are in San Jose, CA i called them and they said they dont ship anything out all they do is Technical Support. Lol Acer has terrible Customer Service, but that story's for another day.

    I knew that, but i was under the impression Acer had a Few places in the States that Manurfactured/shipped/ repairs. Hmmm well as long as it arrives when it's supposed to i guess.

    HSN should be able to give you a tracking number of some kind.

    If you sent the unit back and it is being repaired, it is probably coming from the Temple Texas repair depot. If you are getting a replacement unit, it will be "drop shipped" from China, where the units are manufactured.

    Funny, my experience with Acer service has been great. I use the "fix my acer" site and send the unit under warranty to Temple Texas and it comes back completely repaired. I have never had a hint of a problem.

    The problem comes when you try to talk to someone on the phone. Then you get routed to god-knows-where and get someone on the phone who usually has no idea what they're talking about.

    HSN says i'll get an e-mail, when it's been shipped along with the tracking number hopefully everything works out.
