The 6920 most probably has the ICS9LPRS365 PLL, which is not supported by any software. To be sure, you can open up your system, and scan for the clock generator chip with a similar code on the top-side (Keyboard side) of the motherboard.

Not for now. You can confirm that the PLL is correct, somehow get the PLL's datasheet and send it to Abo@SetFSB, who will add support for the PLL in the next release of the tool.

I don't now about the GPU stuff. If you wander around in the Gaming section of this forum, or use the Search button, there are a couple of GPU overclocking guides, one I remember is written by a user named "Les".

Could you overclock before that driver? If dox's one doesn't work, try 169.04. This one will work.

With my notepal infinite temperatures on the GPU under full load are in the 90-95C range and its stable since on stock clocks without the cooler the temps are more or less the same. I haven't overclock it without the cooler on ,and considering the temperatures, I don't have any intentions of doing so

wow..it's very high overclock i think...how long have you been overclocking ur 9500 gs that way? I wasn't thinking to push more than 50 mhz. U might want to be careful, coz my fella's lappie, which is 5930 (9600 gt), have huge amount of red-dot artifacts all over his monitor after pushing all the clocks for 150 mhz. No solution for this f-up

Does the red dots remain after return to default clocks? He probably fried his GPU or memory. I only overclock when i game and as i said i use a notepal infinite to cool things down. Even then i watch the temperature and if it gets close to 95C (which is around 30mins - 1h gaming) i make a small brake to cool things down. I dont play games that much, too busy with university so thats fine by me. Most of the time my CPU and GPU are actually underclocked

I can give u a GPU-z Screenshoot if that makes you fell better. To extend the limit to your frequencies in RivaTuner go to Power User then Overclocking\Global and then at "MaxClockLimit" type "100" (without the quotes). This way you can go much higher. And in future investigate a bit before accusing someone.

PS. As I already said and you can look it up in the forum. acer 5920G tends to get hot and after 1h of playing GRID i can get up to 90-95C on stock clocks and without the cooler.

It's on LaptopVideo2Go, but you'll need the modded INF to install it.
And I confirm that it works - I was able to get some overclocking in using it.

Go to this link, scroll down and you will find the drivers you need
And i dont have experience with 6920G so maybe I am wrong (for example I tough all 9500M GS are driver locked), but is it the same if you use the official Acer drivers? Also i would try 177.44 just in case
