Im in the market to buy a new laptop for college. I've been looking at the Fujitsu S6210 and the HP zt3000, I haven't looked into Acer's at all until this morning. However, I did see an Acer model with a slot load drive and they began to catch my attention. Can anyone recommend an Acer model that would be similar to the Fujitsu and HP models? Also, what is Acer known for? quality, bang for buck, speed, reliability, service, etc... How do they compare to Fujitsu and HP? And last but not least, where is the best place to buy Acer's? Can you customize them?
    Thanks a lot [ :D]

Check out the 2012. There are two different models, but you will want the upper grade one I would think for value. I have a brief pros/cons on it and Odie has posted a really good review on the main site.
