Why is that? the Aspire 5024 has a beter video card (128mb vs 64mb), better screen (Brightview), better cpu (1.8ghz against 1.6)
The only things i think that are worse are the HD (80gb and 4200rpm) and the Chipset that is an SiS.
But there are more pro's then con's.. right?
    why is it cheaper????

sorry bout my english... it's not my native language...

I believe the TM also has XPP.

Keep in mind that the TravelMate series is Acer's business line, and the Aspire the consumer line.

How much more is it exactly?

I found them in the Notebookreview.com reviews (which, by the way, say its a review of a 5002 and it´s actually a 5024). The prices I found in various Canadian and American sites. I am thinking of importing one.. (i´m from Brazil (is anyone comming here anytime soon???? :) )) but I don´t know which one of the 2 too chose from.

    Bye

First, TM4400 series comes with ATI 200M chipset and X700 Graphics solution which is more powerful than AS5020 series which use SIS M760GX chipset which comes with integrated graphics..

How about software bundling and optical drive on these 2 notebook /??

The Aspire 5024 comes with the ATI 200M Chipset as well. No idea where you are getting the SiS information from.
