I have an Acer Aspire 7551 that I would like to do a clean install of Windows 7 on. I have the product key and the Windows Repair and Acer Recovery disc that I created when I first got it. Can I install only Windows 7 with out all the other junk that comes with it using these discs?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you are to use Acer disks you'll end up with the exact same system that you've had your of the box- with the same drivers and apps, including all the bloatware.

If you have a retail Win 7 disk you can do a clean-install and use your product key from the sticker but if I remember correctly you'll have to activate by phone.
