I'm planning to upgrade my friend's Acer Aspire 4710 to Windows 7. The problem is that the website doesn't provide any driver for it as it considers this laptop 'ineligible' for upgrade or something.

I have actually upgraded my other laptop Asus M50Sv which also said to be ineligible but it works just fine. Then again this is my friend's so I don't want to screw things up.

So if I do upgrade the Acer laptop to W7. Will the device such as webcam, sound, card reader, etc works as the drivers installed automatically?

One specific case is the webcam driver. I google up and found out that there are lot of user that have issue on the webcam application after upgrade. So if anyone who have experience or expertise regarding this issue. Please help.

    Thanks
