Hello, I have a Acer Aspire 6930G and for a couple of days I'm facing "windows checking" problems!! It's the one u get when ur windows starts and it says " Ur c drive need to be checked for consistancy and its recommed blah blah blah and then press any key to skip within 10 sec" So my problem is it gets stuck after the countdown hit 1 sec (I've waiting for like 1 hour) and after it gets stuck u just can't cancel it by pressing any keys. U can't even cancel it sometime when its asking u to press any key within 10 sec.

So is there any way I can check that drive from the windows so that it doesn't have to be in boot screen? (I tried doing drive check from C:\ properties but it says its gonna check in boot screen)

    Thank You!!

    Yes you can check it....

Open Windows Explorer (My Computer), right click Local disk C: and choose properties then click "Tools" tab and choose error checking and windows will check disk for errors...

Also to remind you if you forgot Disk check utility at Windows boot is always started when windows shut-down did not properly finish, for example when you get a famous Bluescreen then when you start windows next time, you will get disk check utility option at boot.

That's perfectly normal. Chkdsk will run upon startup before Windows loads.
