Is corrupted in my Acer 5313. From What I understand it is part of Vista and I cannot delete it out. So I am thinking about doing a restore. This laptop did not come with a restore disk. Anyone know how I can get this resolved?
Ya'll have been great help in the past.

Most vendors have a way of obtaining a Recovery Disk set for your system even after you've had it for some time. All they need is the serial number and other information. Give Acer Support a call and tell them what you need - they usually don't cost that much. HP's for example are only around $40.

Why not just download from Microsoft and re-install it.

According to Microsoft, Windows Media Player is intergrated somehow with Vista and cannot be downloaded separately.
