I would love somebody to try and help if they can. I have just upgraded my laptop and given the older one to the wife. Hers is running xp pro sp3 my new one is running vista HP. Can anybody help me, what i want to do is create a folder on both machines that we can both access and drop files and pics and music in etc. I want to be able to do this over a wireless network. If i drop it in the folder from my machine she can see it and vice versa. Im sure this can be done, does anyone know how, as the techies in the forums are boiling my brain.
Hope someone can make it easier for me to understand.......Thank you..![]()

you need to set up a network.
there is a network set-up wizard in control panel.
but you need to name your network, open a folder to sharing.
will see if there is a full set of instructions on the forum. -
if you can print this page from microsoft.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/setup/wireless.mspx
it will make it easier for you if you get the full instructions from microsoft.
Welcome to NBR and we are here to help.
