My wireless driver for my notebook is dropping connections at least twice a day. Right now the driver installed is 9.0.0173. I can't find the proper update for this driver or link to change it and the only one available on the Acer site is the one that is installed, so if someone has an update or a solution please clue me in as I have just about had it with resetting my adapter. I click troubleshoot and it resets the adapter but I also get there is a wire or plug that is not plugged in properly. It then resets the adapter and it's connected again till it drops. Maddening. There is no wire that can be loose because it is wireless so I guess they just put that line in for whatever reason.

The Notebook is an Acer 8943g win 7 x64

You have to extract it and them manually install via device manager navigating to W7 folder (installer doesn't work on Win 7)- this one is the most recent.

It doesn't have to be a driver issue though- might a swell be a router problem or too much traffic on a channel you're uisng.

Got it installed. Checked my RRSI on "Insider so I got a really good signal unless it's too good. The router is one of those Linksys WRT 54g v8. I have had this problem before but it kind of went away when I moved the router. I'm on channel 6 and there are only 3 other wireless signals in my building and they are all on 3.
