This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Wireless problem with Aspire 5100

    My mother is having a problem with her new Aspire 5100. The list of available connections has to be refreshed several times before it will find a connection and even after it finds it it sometimes can not connect. Has anyone else seen this problem? This seems to be most likely to happen on older routers.
