    Hello,

I have an ACER Aspire 5020 with XP Media Centre Edition. Quickly, I used to have Vista Home Premium. I had a lot of problems with the OS, so I restored my computer back to it's factory defaults in order to try and upgrade Vista again, however this time with Vista Ultimate.
My problem now is when I try and convert my hard disk from FAT32 to NTFS the conversion stops when it is just about to start saying there is insufficient space on the disk. I have 111 gb of empty space on the disk I am trying to convert. The system files are on that disk and therefore I am doing the conversion when the system reboots but I still can't figure out why the error of insufficient space error occurs.
Anyone who would be able to help me get around this issue would be my hero!! lol
Or anyone with any sort of suggestions would also do just fine.
    Thanks for your help!

are you using CMD prompt ?
as this will not convert the pqservice partition :D

i have gone over to NTFS but the pqservice is still showing as fat32 in disk management.

run scan disk and then do a defrag.the defrag will put all the files in order. then scan for junk files with cccleaner.after you tidy up the HDD then try again :D
