Are you saying that your notebook will or will NOT wake up on its own after half and hour?

nope what i mean is that it will wake up by its own after +- 30minutes :) without touching the keyboard etc... its really annoying coz. for example when its in my laptop bag and ill be going to my friends house which is close enough and dont want to use hibernate i am shock to see that it turned on and my acer is really hot! :)

The same thing happens to me, and I have a Travelmate 8210! Hibernate is a-ok, but standby... not so much.
