    XP mode on 1810TZ SU4100

    Are there any tweaks to set up virtualisation on an AS1810TZ with a SU4100 processor.

    I despirately need the use the XP mode but for this Virtual PC is neccessary

    Sorry the SU4100 doesn't support virtualisation. And it's a BGA chip so you can't replace it (unless you have a BGA reworking station),

    No... I could be wrong but... WinUlt64bit supports XP mode...I believe without virtualization...

    I am expecting the same laptop witin the next week and will be installing that OS on it.

    It won't work without virtualization.

    I have W7 x64 Pro on my Studio 1555(P8600, with VT support) and with VT disabled(on BIOS level) I was unable to use XP Mode.

    you'll need virtualization to run VirtualPC.
    If you have a valid XP license, just use vmware player or virtual box.

    VirtualBox is your answer. Doesn't VMPlayer too require hardware virtualiztion?

    No not that I could see. VMware workstation in general will use if if you have it but does not require it.

    There're leaked patches to allow XP mode on SU4100(and other no VT-x processors), these are not officially released yet but do have proper MS digital signature.

    Just search "KB977206" on Google.
