Hello
just done a quick search on here and it seems to be that for the Xpress 1100 integrated video chipset the Omega Drivers are the best ? Anyone concur ?
Also I seem to be having difficulty determining whether I need any drivers for the IDE controller ? The Acer 5101 I have has a IDE drive and its currently using the standard windows drivers. Anyone know of anything better to use ?

The standard IDE driver from MS is normally what I use, I have found sometimes that installing the IDE driver can cause problems with DVD playback, ect on certain motherboards - You can get your integrated drivers from www.ati.com for the 1100 chipset - thats what I would use.

Thanks but I can only find drivers for the 1150 and 200 or am I missing something ? -
The 1150 drivers should work since they both use catalyst and I beleive this should be unified - the only difference is the 1150 has better video (component video) -

also acer has drivers for the 5100 series - this link may work -
but here is all the drivers for the 5100 series -
