I swore I bookmarked an FTP site that had a strong listing of XP drivers for the 5920G series, but upon review of my favorites there is nothing to be found! the Acer-Euro FTP site only has Vista options, but I was sure there was or were XP drivers etc.

are they still around for download or am I hooped now? :(

hey Wacky, I know about the AcerPanAm site...but when you look up the 5920G, the only drivers listed are for Vista. I don't think the 5920G ever had an XP based version, but, there was/were XP drivers for it, should you reinstall.

alas, that XP for Vista Only laptops thread shows that there were drivers for the 5920 at one point, but everything has been removed :(

I looked through there and it looks like the same as 3 weeks ago when I downloaded XP drivers from the website.

You need to look through carefully and pick the drivers that is compatible with XP. There are drivers for ALL platfroms, but there are enough XP drivers for all you need.
Scroll down and see details for each driver - they will tell you the version and what platform is compatible, although the file size is inaccurate.

well son of a gun! I guess I just had the luck of the draw to always click on Vista or Vista x64 items! well, that's pretty cool. thanks!

edit - still sucks that the folders on the ftp server are gone tho... :(
