i tried to calculate super pi , my laptop took 4 min 20 seconds to calculate pi upto 2 milion digits, i think this is very dismal performance, i have set the cpu speed to max and the power cable was plugged in, in the reviews for this acer aspire i saw that it took 2 mins and odd for calculating upto 2 million, then why is my score so more, is my notebbok defective :(

did you do the WinXP multi-core config?

and you should use 3DMark06's Multi-threaded CPU Test for more accurate scores since SuperPI is only single-threaded and wont utilize both cores for the score.
