    acer 1691 and microsoft wireless notebook optical mouse

    i bought this mouse a couple of months ago,the first time it worked perfectly
    but now it doesnt here is the problem,when i connect to the usb that i have
    always used with that mouse the power button of connect in the transmiter its
    on but when i move the mouse it doesnt move the pointer it doesnt happend
    nothing, i tried on another usb and it just moves a little then it stops and
    then click the buttons and it doesnt work,i tried in another laptop but it
    doesnt work either the usb's work as right now i am using another mouse,i
    tried the connect buttons but they doesnt work either the transmiter just
    keeps beeping (the light) and then i click the connect in the mouse but it
    like the transmiter doesnt recognise the mouse.Any help?

    Did you try updating the mouse's software. The may sound dumb, but did you change the batteries.

    yes i have replaced the batteries,and i havent found any software for that mouse,i have seen a couple of reviews of that mouse an they say it doenst need any drivers.
    what else can it be?any other ideas?
