    Hi,
    I recently upgraded my hard drive to a faster Samsung 80gb hd and now when I boot up it takes a while to post.
    Is there anyway to make my new hard drive boot faster?
    In my bios the hard drive is set to first boot device
    When my old factory hard drive is put back in it posts in 10secs.
    If any1 has or had the same problem with switching hard drives in the Acer 1692 can you please help me???

    Might want to upgrade your bios and/ or hard drive firmware if available.
