    acer 2012 wlci help! nothing at startup

    Help! bought this system from pricemad in april for my neice-graduation. seemed to work fine. she brought it with her last week when visiting so that we could try to figure out how to copy her pics to cd's and copy some music cd's. started off fine then nothing. was able to sart it in safe mode once. now only what resembles a simple test pattern at start up with the 5-6 notes that I guess signifies windows I had purchased a norton anti-virus program and downloaded that when it first arrived here Don't think that she got it registered yet. don't think that she has had it connected to the internetDon't know what else to tell
