I just switched from Vista to XP. All of my drivers came up automatically, except audio, video, ethernet, and wifi. I have managed to get all of these off of either the acer website or other websites except the wifi.

I just cannot find the wifi driver.

I have downloaded several off of acers website and none have worked. I go back to school tomorrow and really need to get on wifi.

Please can somebody help me figure out what the wifi driver is for my Acer 3680-2682?

(Also if anybody knows of anything that i might have missed, acer preinstalled software i will need to redownload or something please let me know)

oh sorry for the double post i messed it up a bit and thought it didnt work sorry. still help please

    Thank You

I have a 3680 too and it has a Broadcom wifi card. The way I always do it is just to plug the ethernet in and do a Windows Update and it always installs the driver for the wifi card. I'm running XP as well and I've done it a few times.

I also have the same model and version 3680, been runnig XP forever on it.

Go to either AcerPanAm site or Acer Europe site and get the Broadcom drivers.

Download and unzip, remember where you put it. Next, go to, my computer, properties, hardware, device manager, find the wifi adapter (sound be red, in the network adapters), right click and hit "update driver" point it to the broadcom file and that should do it.
